The campaign culminated in a physical main event held at the vibrant Upper Atrium, Level UG, Paradigm Mall. On the pivotal day of 20th May 2023, the venue buzzed with activity from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, echoing the spirit of hope and solidarity. Five insightful health talks, focusing on suicide prevention and drug use, were conducted, illuminating the minds of the attendees. Amidst these discussions, a lively Zumba Workshop infused the atmosphere with energy, symbolizing the campaign’s vibrant approach to mental health awareness.
The event not only disseminated knowledge but also fostered interactive experiences through various booths. From “Know Your Medicine” to “Art Therapy,” and “Depression Screening” to “Kids Colouring Activity,” these booths were carefully designed to cater to participants of all ages, ensuring that each visitor found a space where their concerns were met with empathy and understanding. The “Eye Check-up” booth, manned by dedicated FOVS lecturers and students, exemplified the campaign’s commitment to holistic well-being, providing professional eye checkups and counseling to the public.
