SCSJ students brought joy and happiness to the refugee community

SEGi College Subang Jaya’s Community Service students under the School of MPU & Language have organised a “Shape of Happiness”, an orphanage visitation event on 22 October 2022.

Our students have collaborated with The Peace Education Centre (T-PEC), a non-profit, Myanmarese refugee community learning centre based in Kuala Lumpur. The purposes of this event are to foster a sense of belonging and togetherness among the children and the community and to encourage children’s participation which leads to the development of specific soft skills through activities. Our students also wanted to create a memorable moment with the children through activities that bring value. The event was participated by 41 participants, including children from the age of 5 to 17 years old.
