SEGi students experience firefighting firsthand

Students taking the Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (DIOSH) at SEGi College Sarawak took a fun trip to a fire station at Tabuan Jaya.

This was a great opportunity for the students to learn about fire safety and the procedures and equipment necessary for putting out fires.

Besides being taken on a tour of the fire station and being briefed about fire protocol, the students also had an interesting and eye-opening time putting on firefighting suits, sitting in the fire trucks, and witnessing the firefighters while they handled the emergency hotline.
