SEGi law unveils Malaysia’s policing history in jaw-dropping museum expedition

SEGi’s Faculty of Law recently orchestrated a remarkable field trip. On 16 August 2023, students, accompanied by SEGi Moot & Law Society advisors, delved into the Royal Malaysia Police Museum in Kuala Lumpur, unravelling the rich tapestry of the nation’s policing evolution. 

Led by knowledgeable Sergeant Roszitah Abdul Wahab, the museum journey unfolded across three distinct galleries. Gallery A provided insights into policing during the early Malay Sultanate, showcasing the multifaceted role of the Temenggung, including his duties as a police chief and prison superintendent. Authentic Keris, bearing small bloodstains from this era, added a palpable historical touch.
