Universiti SEGi di Kota Damansara telah mengadakan Projek Saringan Mata Di Tapak pada 12 Mac 2023, dengan kerjasama Ti-Ratana dan Soroptimist International Damansara. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acara itu bertujuan menyediakan perkhidmatan pemeriksaan mata secara percuma kepada empat kanak-kanak dari Pusat Pembelajaran Komuniti Pelarian Myanmar (MRCLC) dan 104 penduduk Ti-Ratana yang berbangsa campuran. Saringan telah dikendalikan oleh pasukan dari Universiti SEGi. Selain fotografi untuk penerbitan SEGi, acara itu bertepatan dengan Hari Kebahagiaan Antarabangsa dan Hari Antarabangsa untuk Penghapusan Diskriminasi Kaum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurut Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia, terdapat 2.2 bilion orang di seluruh dunia yang mengalami gangguan penglihatan atau buta, dengan 1 bilion daripadanya boleh dicegah atau dirawat. Mencegah buta dan kehilangan penglihatan memerlukan pengesanan awal dan rawatan penyakit mata. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
