Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam Fakulti Kejuruteraan, Alam Bina dan Teknologi Maklumat (FoEBEIT) di Universiti SEGi sekali lagi membuktikan kecemerlangannya dengan mencapai kejayaan luar biasa pada Pertandingan Kestabilan Gempa Berstruktur UTAR 8.0 (SES-VIII) yang sangat dinanti-nantikan yang diadakan pada 8 Julai 2023. Kejohanan luar biasa pasukan tahun ini telah dipamerkan oleh dua pasukan yang dipamerkan oleh kepakaran luar biasa. padang, Ir. Dr. Tee Horng Hean dan Dr. Nurul Izzatul Lydia, masing-masing terdiri daripada pelajar tahun 4 yang berpengalaman dan pelajar tahun 1 yang bercita-cita tinggi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Di tengah-tengah saingan sengit daripada 19 pasukan yang mewakili universiti awam dan swasta tersohor, termasuk institusi berprestij seperti Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Malaya (UM), dan Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), pasukan dari Universiti SEGi muncul sebagai pemenang, meninggalkan jejak mereka dalam bidang kejuruteraan awam. Malah salah satu pasukan telah memperoleh hadiah saguhati yang sangat diidamkan, memperoleh pengiktirafan yang sewajarnya untuk prestasi cemerlang mereka dan membawa pulang hadiah wang tunai RM400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SES, acara tahunan anjuran Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), semakin mendapat perhatian sejak penubuhannya pada 2015. Pada tahun ini, pertandingan itu semakin ketara apabila ia bekerjasama dengan institusi profesional yang dihormati seperti The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) dan Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Malaysia. Kerjasama itu bukan sahaja menaikkan martabat pertandingan tetapi juga menyediakan platform yang tiada tandingan untuk peserta mempamerkan kehebatan kejuruteraan mereka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
