Tan Sri Clement Hii was appointed to the Board on 3 September 2001 as the Executive Director of the Company and subsequently assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer on 10 October 2001. In January 2009, Tan Sri Clement Hii was redesignated as the Group Managing Director.
Tan Sri Clement Hii, is a member of the Remuneration Committee, Executive Committee and Long Term Incentive Plan Committee of the Company.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the United Kingdom. He was conferred honorary doctorate degrees by the University of Sunderland, University of Southern Queensland and his alma mater,
the University of Wolverhampton.
He was the Executive Deputy Chairman of Star Publications (M) Bhd for two years, until the end of December 2010. He was also a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of SYF Resources Berhad from June 2012 to April 2014. Currently, Tan Sri Clement Hii is also the Executive Chairman of HCK Capital Group Bhd. He also holds positions in numerous private limited companies and charitable foundations, including Yayasan Hiichiikok.
