Acquiring Diploma in Advertising Design

Advertising is a form of communication that influences potential customers to purchase or to consume a particular brand of product or service. Some of the commonly used media for advertising are TV, radio, websites, newspapers, magazines, billboards, and hoardings. The dawn of new technologies creates vast opportunities for advertising graduates.

The Diploma in Advertising Design programme combines theory and practice effectively, encouraging creative ideas with emphasis on conceptual, strategic thinking, mastery of technique and verbal presentation within an environment that stimulates innovation.

As a result of economic liberalisation and changing social trends, advertising industry has shown rapid growth in the last decade. Jobs within the Advertising industry are generally categorised into two areas, executive and creative.

The executive department manages clients’ needs, create new and retain existing business, selects appropriate media, analyse timing and placement of advertisements and negotiate the financial aspects of the business deals. The creative department then creates and meets the clients needs and requirements.
