LOST BOOK PENALTY

With effect from 1 August 2010, the penalty for lost book shall be as follows:

Pay double the price of the book + Processing fee of RM5 + Book overdue fines (if any)

OR

Replace with new book + Processing fee of RM5 + Book overdue fines (if any)

Example:
Cost of lost book is RM100, overdue for 20 days (Open shelf book) The penalty shall be (100x2) + 5 + 20 = RM225

To avoid the penalty, please check your library accounts to ensure that you don’t have long overdue books that you may have forgotten and clear your accounts before the deadline.
 
Resource Centre will be closed from

1.00pm 9 Sept 2010 to 12 Sept 2010

And, the library operation hours and the study area opening hours will be changed to the following between 13-19 Sept 2010:
Mon-Fri 9.00am-5.30pm 9.00am-7.00pm
Sat 10.00am–12.00pm 9.30am–5.00pm
Sun Closed

* The resource centre will be closed on 16 Sept 2010 , a public holiday.
