| TERMS AND CONDITIONS | ||
| • | Scholarship recipients shall maintain high academic results of at least a CGPA of 3.70 every semester to be entitled to scholarship for the next semester. | |
| • | Scholarship recipients shall contribute to SEGi University College’s activities, including participation in promotional activities, for up to 5 hours per week during their period of study at the University. | |
| APPLICATION PROCEDURES | ||
| • | Validity period for application: 1st March 2010 – 30th April 2010 (for SPM and STPM school-leavers only). | |
| • | Validity period for students with foundation or diploma: One month before commencement of the course. |

| • | Obtain the High Achiever’s Scholarship Application Form from SEGi University College or download the scholarship application form from our website at www.segi.edu.my |
|
| • | Scholarship application form must be sent at least one month before the enrolment of the course. | |
| • | Complete and send the application form with certified true copy of actual and forecast result slips and all other supporting documents to:

| • | Short listed candidates will then be interviewed by members of SEGi Scholarship Board, including the Head of the relevant faculty. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. (for SPM and STPM students only) |
|
| • | All decisions made by the SEGi Scholarship Board are final and appeals will not be entertained. Only successful applicants will be notified. | |
| POLICIES | ||
| • | Scholarships offered cover tuition fees and internal examination fees at undergraduate degree, diploma or foundation level only. | |
| • | Scholarships only cover the course of studies at SEGi University College and shall not include the foreign portion of the studies and external moderation or examination fees. | |
| • | If the scholarship recipient does not meet the required academic requirement, he/she will undertake to pay either the re-sit/re-take fees as deemed necessary by the respective faculty. | |
| • | If and when forecast results are used in application, SEGi University College reserves the right to revise the offer if the actual result falls below the forecast submitted. | |
| • | Scholarship offered is not exchangeable, nor is the unutilized portion of the scholarship refundable in cash terms. | |
| • | SEGi University College reserves the right to revoke the said scholarship if the recipient does not maintain the required CGPA, discipline, attendance and good behaviour and/or participates in criminal or tortuous acts of omissions. | |
| • | SEGi University College reserves the right to amend the policies and terms of the scholarship without notice. | |
| • | All information furnished by the scholarship recipient must be true and correct in all respects. In the event of any inaccurate or incorrect information furnished, the scholarship is liable to be withdrawn without notice and in such event the scholarship recipient shall be required to pay SEGi University College the amount of tuition fee waived, to date. | |
| • | The scholarship recipient must accept the offer of SEGi University College and pay the relevant application fee before commencement of the programme, failing which the scholarship offered will automatically lapse. | |
| • | decisions made by SEGi University College on all matters to the scholarships are final. | |
| • | Unless otherwise approved, each student is only entitled to one (1) scholarship/ bursary/ financial assistance scheme/ promotional benefits offered by SEGi University College and its group at any one time. In the event that the student qualifies for more than one (1) award, he/ she must choose which one he/ she wishes to apply and accept. | |
| • | All scholarship recipients must abide by the Rules and Regulations of SEGi University College. | |
