| CRITERIA | ||
| • | Malaysian students (Winners of Cheer 2008 Team from SMK Seri Bintang Utama only) | |
| • | Possess SPM result of year 2008 to 2011: Candidate with 2009 SPM – eligible for scholarship offered in year 2010 Candidate with 2010 SPM – eligible for scholarship offered in year 2011 Candidate with 2011 SPM – eligible for scholarship offered in year 2012 |

| • | Students must register for May intake only. | |
| TERMS AND CONDITIONS | ||
| • | Scholarship recipients shall maintain academic results of a minimum CGPA of 2.0 every semester to be entitled to scholarship for the next semester. | |
| • | Participate in SEGi University College or its associate institutions’ Cheer Leading Team. | |
| • | Scholarship recipients must also contribute to SEGi University College or its associate institutions’ activities, including participation in promotional activities up to 5 hours per week, during their period of study at the University College. | |
| APPLICATION PROCEDURES | ||
| • | Application period (Year 2009 – 2012): 1st March - 30th April. | |
| • | Obtain the SEGi Cheer Scholarship Application Form from SEGi University College or its associate institutions or download the scholarship application form from our website at www.segi.edu.my. | |
| • | Complete the application form with the following supporting documents:

| • | Submit the application to:

| • | Candidates will be called for an interview by a panel from the SEGi Scholarship Board. | |
| • | All decisions made by the SEGi Scholarship Board are final and appeals will not be entertained. | |
| POLICIES | ||
| • | Scholarship covers tuition fees and internal examination fees at Foundation, Diploma level or American Degree Program only. | |
| • | Scholarship only covers the course of studies at SEGi University College or its associate institutions and shall not include the foreign portion of the studies and external moderation or examination fees. | |
| • | If the scholarship recipient does not meet the required academic requirement, he/she will undertake to pay either the re-sit/re-take fees as deemed necessary by the respective faculty. | |
| • | Scholarship offered is not exchangeable, nor is the unutilized portion of the scholarship refundable in cash terms. | |
| • | SEGi University College or its associate institutions reserves the right to revoke the said scholarship if the scholarship recipient does not maintain discipline, attendance and good behaviour and/or participates in criminal or tortuous acts of omissions. | |
| • | SEGi University College or its associate institutions reserves the right to amend the policies and term of the scholarship without notice. | |
| • | All information furnished by the scholarship recipient must be true and correct in all respects. In the event of any inaccurate or incorrect information furnished, the scholarship is liable to be withdrawn without notice and in such event the scholarship recipient shall be required to pay SEGi University College or its associate institutions the amount of tuition fee waived to date. | |
| • | The scholarship offered is only valid for the May intake of year 2009 till 2012. If the scholarship offer is not exercised within the year of offer, it shall lapse automatically. | |
| • | The scholarship recipient must accept the offer of SEGi University College or its associate institutions and pay the relevant application fee before commencement of the programme, failing which the scholarship offered will automatically lapse. | |
| • | All decisions made by SEGi University College or its associate institutions on all matters to the scholarships are final. | |
| • | All scholarship recipients must abide by the Rules and Regulations of SEGi University College or its associate institutions. | |
