Description

The SEGi Diploma in Video & Animation programme imparts technical skills and independent methods of presentation needed to excel in this dynamic industry. A balanced scope of theory and screen art techniques must be learned before the student can enter the world behind the lens. Hence there is a strong emphasis on film theory, even as we introduce subjects like lighting, shooting, pre and post-productions.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of the Diploma in Video & Animation programme can pursue careers including: Videographer, Screenwriter, Video Editor, Studio Manager, TV & Film Director, Producer, Scriptwriter, Production Manager, Film Critic, and Film Studies Lecturer.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM
  • or O-Levels
  • or SM2
  • or Malaysian Independent Chinese Secondary School UEC Certificate
  • or Malaysian Certificate of Education (MCE)
  • or equivalent (3 credits) & Pass the interview session.
