IMI - The Institute Of The Motor Industry is a professional body, based in the UK, for people employed in the motor industry. There are 25,000 individual IMI members, from across all areas of the motor industry, who are recognised for their skills and experience. IMI Membership is awarded on the basis of an individual's qualifications, career history and motor industry experience.
SEGi Training Centre at Seri Kembangan is part of IMI's network of over 300 IMI approved assessment centres, across the UK and overseas. These centres deliver training to students and motor industry employees. IMI provides services such as provision of full-time national quality assurance team, independent advisory board of motor industry executives, involved in education, training and human resources. It also has a proven on-line assessment system.
