Ms Hew Moi Lan, Group CEO of SEG International Berhad, was given the honour and recognition for being the Most Promising Entrepreneur in Malaysia. The award was one of the categories in the prestigious Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards 2012 Malaysia (APEA). Ms Hew was selected as the Most Promising Entrepreneur Award winner of the APEA. She received the award during the Official Awards Presentation Ceremony and Gala Dinner at Shang-ri La Hotel, KL on 11 July. As Ms Hew says, “A great organization cannot be built by asking, ‘Can this be done?’ but rather ‘How can this be done?’ With this maxim, we have grown from strength to strength.” The Most Promising Entrepreneurship Award is to recognise individuals who have shown very promising efforts, perseverance and growth in the business and only a selected few were awarded during the awards night. Winners are entrepreneurs that have displayed outstanding accomplishments in the past and present and have the vision to drive their companies as leading businesses in the near future. The prestigious Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards is a world-class awards recognizing and honoring business leaders who have shown outstanding performance and tenacity in developing successful businesses within the region. Organized by Enterprise Asia and supported by local governments and businesses, the awards aim to band leading entrepreneurs across the region to spur greater innovation, fair practices and growth in entrepreneurship. Today, the awards has expanded to include Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, India and China. |
