It is indeed a proud moment for Puan Nordiayana Binti Din as she was appointed as an Industry Expertise by the Department of Skills Development (DSD) of the Ministry of Human Resources for their industry development and training programme. Accreditation from the ministry was in turn awarded to SEGi College Seri Kembangan.
Puan Nordiayana, the Head of Programme (Training) Department from SEGi Training Centre’s role as the Industry Expertise will be to participate in the development of the National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS), Course of Study (CoS), Written Instruction Manual (WIM) and other courses. In addition, she is also responsible of ensuring that the NOSS published is in line with industry demand from time to time.
Puan Nordiayana participated at this year’s Course of Study (CoS) development for Malaysian Skills Advance Diploma, Hospitality Program, which was held at De Palma Ampang from 29th May till the 3rd June.
She commented that from her point of view, she found that this collaboration between both parties is essential to ensure that the training provided by the DSD Accredited Centre is always in line with industry demands.
Consequently, this will ensure that SEGi’s trainees are well equipped with Employability Skills, putting them a step ahead when it comes to being the best.
