To welcome the new students and appreciate them as a part of the SEGian family, the SEGi College Sarawak student services team and management arranged for a 3-day orientation for them at the campus. On the very first day (12 September), they were introduced to all the key personnel including the Programme Coordinators, Academic Executives and the Student Council. To break the ice between the newcomers and their SEGi seniors, they played some fun games and got a detailed introduction to every club or society they could join at the campus. To make sure they are well acquainted with the facilities at SEGi College Sarawak, the new students were brought on a campus tour as well as received a briefing of all the scholarships they could avail of. On the second day, the freshies were given a writing workshop, examinations briefing and a thorough briefing on the online resources available to help them transition from secondary school studies to tertiary studies. On the last day, the students were taught how to prepare for examinations and more sessions on how to cope better with college life.
