From its creation in 1881, The London Chamber of Commerce recognized the need for improved commercial and technical

secondary education alongside advanced foreign language courses. The Commercial Education Committee of the London Chamber of Commerce was appointed in 1887, and the first LCCI examinations were held later that same year. LCCI, from the United Kingdom, as an international awarding body offering over 60 separate qualifications in 22 subjects including Accounting, Marketing, IT, Business English and Management. LCCI was established more than 100 years ago, receives more than 500,000 exam registrations every year. Students from over 80 countries use LCCI to advance their careers and also to further their studies with universities and professional bodies. The LCCI enjoy international recognition from employers, universities and professional bodies.

Students who pass individual subjects will be awarded an LCCI certificate for each subject passed.

Students can obtain a Group Diploma by passing 3 subjects within an Exam Series. Furthermore, they can obtain a Double Group Diploma by passing 5 subjects within an Exam Series. For ultimate flexibility, LCCI’s Diploma in Business Studies allows students to accumulate any 3 subject passes within 12 months.

Accounting diploma holders, technically competent in all aspects of accounting support, can work as
• Accounts Clerk
• Accounts Assistant
• Accounts Executive
• Accounts supervisor.

Even a single certificate in bookkeeping and accounts, or accounting, is often required for the position of accounts clerk.

A complete training system, the first to be implemented in Malaysia, that includes:
• A range of specially-written textbooks and “How To Pass” books (official LCCI Exam Board Guide)
  are given to full-time registered students.
• Lessons in computerized accounting in computer labs using MYOB accounting software. Students will
  be issued certificates of attendance
