Today, the study and scope of Information Technology has ballooned to encompass many aspects of computing and technology, becoming a widely recognised and used term. IT professionals perform a variety of duties that range from data management, networking and engineering computer hardware to database design, software design and the management and administration of entire systems.

The Diploma in Information Technology programme teaches students to handle the challenges of IT management, software engineering and development techniques. Students will develop skills required for integrated databases, systems, networks and communication technology within a business context.

Graduates can also consider articulating into a range of degree programmes and, depending on units/electives competed during their studies, students may be eligible to apply for advanced standing.
