The Business Administration programme has been designed to provide you with an opportunity to develop further the knowledge and skills of business, and options to specialise in areas that particularly interest you. In this programme, you will have developed the industry-practical skills and knowledge of business necessary to prepare you for an increasingly competitive employment market.

Graduates will obtain detailed knowledge of the critical contemporary challenges and current thinking in business and in particular, the challenges of decision-making and implementing change in large and complex organizations.

Graduates will also develop skills in the management of their own performance as well as that of others, and build on their understanding of the importance of information and information technologies in the administration of business.

Graduates achieving the award of BA (Hons) in Business Administration have gained employment in both public and private sector organisations in a range of business functions such as operations management, business consultancy, administration, financial analysis, management accountancy and human resource management. The degree also offers the opportunity to pursue studies at postgraduate level, for instance in MBA and International Business masters programmes.
