Diploma in Nursing

The Diploma in Nursing is designed to prepare students to be qualified as a Registered Nurse. This programme focuses both on the ‘care’ aspects of nursing as well as the ‘science’ of healthcare. Students will undergo a complete learning experience involving classroom work, activities at simulation wards, practical room and skills lab, and earn real life experience during attachments with partner hospitals and community health clinics.

The programme is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and National Accreditation Board (LAN). It is also accredited by the Ministry
of Health & Malaysian Nursing Board. Students who pass the final examinations will eventually graduate and register with the said Board.

Career Prospects

Holders of the SEGi Diploma in Nursing are able to access to many employment opportunities in the fields of clinical nursing, healthcare, education and management, locally and abroad. They can hold positions as registered nurse, nursing supervisors, managers in hospitals, educators, industrial nurse or as product specialists and etc.
