SEGi College Penang obtained approval to conduct trainings as approved by the Malaysian Government under Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (known as Majlis Latihan Vokasional Kebangsaan –MLVK), Kementeriaan Sumber Manusia.  The department known as SEGi Training Centre Penang that conducts trainings on these programmes is headed by Puan Harlinda Zakaria with her team members who are equally dedicated and tactful in ensuring standards are maintained as per the requirement by the government.

SEGi Training Centre Bukit Mertajam, Penang comes under SEGi College Penang since 1999 and was formerly located at Beach Street, Penang. We had trained more than 1000 students under JPK. In August 2006, due to rapid demand and the need to facilitate a more conducive environment for training and development purposes for trainees it has been strategically located at 25 & 27, Jalan Permatang Rawa 1, Kawasan Perniagaan Rawa, 14000 Bukit Mertajam, Seberang Prai Tengah, Penang.  As for accommodation we have hostels located nearby college at residential areas where students can have easy access to restaurants, eating outlets and other facilities such as cyber café, mini market and public transport.
