DIPLOMA IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT

The Diploma in Tourism management gives you an understanding of theoretical concepts and strategies for a tourism business environment.

You will learn how to apply this valuable knowledge and skills gained from the core tourism courses through case studies, research and industry-based projects. The program provides an understanding of the structure, nature, management and impact of the international industry and the changing external environment.

During the course, you will broaden your knowledge of the many different Service Providers that contribute to the travel and tourism industry, such as the tour and travel operators, hotel & resorts, airlines and visitor attractions.

In addition, you will also study core business skills in marketing, finance, human resource management and operations.

Entry Requirements

- Student must have completed “O” Level Examination
- Malaysian SPM/STPM Certificate
- Malaysian Independent Chinese Secondary School UEC Certificate
- Any qualification equal to one of the above, subject to approval on a case-to- case basis.

Assessment

Assessment may be a combination of assignments, examination and project wrote.
