Diploma in Accounting
The Diploma in Accountancy (DIA) prepares students with a logical introduction to the accounting environment and to the common financial accounting and management accounting tools used for decision-making purposes.
The Diploma in Accountancy (DIA) is approved and accredited program by the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia (MOHE). Holders of the Diploma in Accountancy will gain direct entry into the final part of Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree awarded by the University of Queensland (USQ), Australia.
Students holding the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia may gain direct membership (Associate ) into the prestigious Australia CPA.
Holders of the DIA qualification may also pursue professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK . They are eligible for a maximum 11-subjects exemptions for the CIMA qualification. This means that the student needs to complete only 4 strategic subjects to gain membership with CIMA.
