What is your current course and curriculums taking part?
Currently I am pursuing my diploma in chemical engineering. It’s a 2 ½ years program, full time study mode.
I’m in my third semester now.

What is your dream career and future plans?
My dream is to be a successful chemical engineer.
After completing my diploma, I am planning to get a scholarship and continue my degree in the University of Sheffield.
Upon that, I would like to contribute my knowledge in my nation’s development by working as a chemical engineer.
I would like to conduct more research on using the science of chemical engineering and produce more innovative products that will benefit many people.

Being a scholarship recipient, what has benefited you?
Being a scholarship recipient, I have reduced the financial burden of my parents.
As my father is the soul breadwinner in the family and he still has to support two of my brothers who are still schooling, this scholarship is very helpful and meaningful to me. It has made a big difference in my life.
As a part of this scholarship, I have been working in the marketing department, 5 hours per week. I have gained many valuable experiences while working there. I have obtained skills on telemarketing and so on.

What is your successful story you would like to share with?
During my national service, I have won a silver medal in the football tournament held there.
During my secondary school days, I have been a school representative in the school hockey team.
I was the secretary for my school’s Prefectorial Board.
I was the Business Editor in the school’s Editorial Board.
I was the president of the school’s Literary Society.
